Deacons values integrity, loyalty and leadership, and our pro bono work and community legal based initiatives, are just two of the ways we demonstrate this to the communities in which we live.

We have made a long-term commitment to providing pro bono assistance to a range of national and local organisations in need of legal services. We also second lawyers into organisations who provide pro bono services, and are members of pro bono associations.

These non-commercial activities benefit our local communities and give our lawyers a greater depth of experience that they apply to our clients’ legal needs. It gives lawyers and other employees enhanced professional development opportunities and exposure to a diversity of legal experiences.
