Working closely with clients“ Since commencing with Deacons I have mainly been working on private equity/M&A transactions, together with some venture capital and corporate advisory work. I spent 3 months on secondment with a major transport/infrastructure company in Australia, working closely with their head legal counsel. The knowledge and contacts I gained there were very useful in the later stages of the deal - especially when we needed some information from a business unit manager at 11pm one evening! ”
